My stay at the Novotel Cairo El Borg was a mixed experience. The location was great, right by the Nile and close to downtown, but the service left something to be desired. I had clean rooms with a nice city view, but I faced issues with check-in and customer service during breakfast.

The breakfast buffet offered a good selection, especially the fresh strawberries, but I hoped for more variety overall in the meal options. The rooftop bar has a stunning view but was a bit slow with service.

The hotel had solid facilities including a 24-hour cafe and helpful concierge services, but addressing the room card system issues would enhance the overall experience.
